One small AI habit a week

Every week, one thing you can try at work the same day: the prompt to copy, what it changes and why it works. It takes a minute to read.

What you get

  • One habit, explained. Before and after, with the prompt ready to copy.
  • Why it works. Two or three sentences, so it sticks.
  • What changed. When ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Copilot adds something worth knowing, you'll hear about it in plain words.

What you won't get

  • Hype, "10x your productivity" promises or AI news for its own sake
  • Daily emails. It's weekly.
  • Your address shared with anyone

Ask the AI to improve your prompt before you use it

Paste your rough prompt and ask the AI to rewrite it. You get a sharper request, and it tells you what it was missing.

Before

Write a project update email.

After

Here's a prompt I'm about to use: "Write a project update email." Before you answer it, rewrite it into a better prompt. Add what you'd need to know to do a great job, and list any questions you have for me.

Why it works: Most weak answers come from short prompts that leave the AI guessing. When you ask it to rewrite your prompt first, it fills in what a good request needs (audience, goal, length, tone) and shows you which details only you can supply. You learn to write better prompts just by watching what it adds.

Try it today, then hit reply and tell us how it went.

Try "email", "meeting notes" or "spreadsheet".
