Ask for a simple explanation, then have the AI quiz you
Learn a new concept faster by asking the AI to explain it simply, then test you with questions one at a time until you've got it.
What is gross margin?
I work in operations and keep hearing "gross margin" in planning meetings. Explain it to me simply, with one everyday example and no formulas beyond what I really need. Then quiz me to check I understood. Ask one question at a time and wait for my answer. Start easy and get harder. If I get something wrong, give me a hint before telling me the answer. After five questions, ask me to explain gross margin in my own words, and tell me if anything in my explanation is off.
Why it works
Reading an explanation feels like understanding, but you only find out what stuck when you try to use it. Asking the AI to quiz you one question at a time makes you work out the answers yourself, which is how good tutors teach. Explaining the idea back in your own words shows you, and the AI, what still needs work.
