Reply with specific feedback instead of starting over

When the first answer misses, say exactly what to change in the same chat. It keeps what worked and fixes what didn't.

Before

That's not right. Try again.

After

Close. Keep the structure and the opening line. Three changes: 1. Cut the second paragraph. The team already knows the history. 2. Make the tone warmer. This is a thank-you, not a status report. 3. End with the date of the team lunch, not a question.

Why it works

"Try again" tells the AI something is wrong but not what, so it changes things at random. Starting a new chat throws away everything it already got right. Specific feedback in the same conversation works like editing with a colleague: you keep the good parts and point at the exact problems.

Try it now

Click a highlighted part and type your own details. Press Enter to jump to the next one, then copy.

Your prompt

Good start. Keep [what worked]. Change these things: 1. [first change and why] 2. [second change and why]

Variations

When you can't say what's wrong

Something about this feels off but I can't name it. Give me three things that might be weakening it, and I'll tell you which ones to fix.

Change one part only

Leave everything else exactly as it is. Only rewrite the [section], making it [shorter / more direct / friendlier].

Lock in what you like

This version is right. Use it as the model for the next three I'm about to paste.

Liked that? One tip like this every week.

A short email with one habit, the prompt to copy and why it works. Nothing else.
